Personal experience turned into an editorial project
The Gambling Desk is an independent website about Stake, sports betting, online casinos and the use of cryptocurrency in this field.
TGD was created and is written entirely by one person. Its author chooses to keep their identity private, but the published content draws on fifteen years of personal experience with sports betting and, since 2021, online casinos.
Over the years, many betting and casino platforms have been used and tested with both traditional currencies and cryptocurrency. That experience also includes mistakes familiar to many newcomers: confusing offers, terms that were not read carefully enough, unfamiliar crypto tools and fraudulent websites.
Why The Gambling Desk exists
The Gambling Desk was created to explain the Stake ecosystem as clearly as possible and help users understand how it works.
The aim is not to promise winnings or encourage people to gamble more. TGD makes sometimes complex mechanisms easier to understand so readers can make better-informed decisions.

Depending on the subject, information is supplemented and checked against official sources, public documents and interfaces available to users. Content may be updated when features, terms or other information change.
