Pre-match betting

Pre-match brings together markets open before an event begins. It gives you time to browse the options, compare odds and build your slip.

Live betting

Live betting starts once the event is underway. Odds follow the score and match developments. They are suspended during key moments, then reappear at a new value.

Live coverage is especially prominent in football, basketball, tennis, hockey, cricket and esports. Available markets follow the match’s key moments.

Singles, accumulators and systems: three ways to build a slip

A single bet contains one selection. It offers the most direct reading: one bet amount, one price and one result.

An accumulator groups several selections and multiplies their odds. The potential return rises, but every selection must win for the slip to win.

A system bet turns several selections into a series of accumulators. It can retain winning lines when a selection loses, with the total stake spread across all combinations.

Bet Builder and Same Game Multi

Bet Builder brings together several selections from the same match. In football, for example, you can combine the winner, a goalscorer and a goals total on one slip.

Stake also uses the name Same Game Multi. The final odds account for the relationship between selections, so not every combination is available.

Odds formats

Stake displays decimal, fractional or American odds. This choice changes only their presentation.

Decimal odds are the simplest to read. A €10 bet at 2.50 shows a potential return of €25, including the stake. The bet slip calculates this automatically before confirmation.

Cash out and tracking bets

Cash out lets you close a bet before its final result for the displayed amount. Its value changes with the event: it rises when the situation becomes favourable and falls otherwise.

The button appears directly in “My Bets” on eligible slips. It is not offered on every market and disappears when odds are suspended.

Streaming and live data

Stake streams some events directly in the sportsbook. An icon identifies events available to logged-in users.

The live viewer brings together the score, time played and key statistics. It lets you follow the event without leaving the bet slip, even when no video is available.

How bets are settled

Stake settles the slip using the result of the selected market. A winning bet automatically credits the return to the balance. A losing bet moves into history once the result is confirmed.

A void selection is settled at odds of 1.00. The stake of a single bet is returned and the selection is neutralised in an accumulator. Postponements, retirements and changes of participant follow the rules of the relevant sport.

Sportsbook, crypto and VIP

The sportsbook uses the same wallet as the casino. Players choose their available balance and display currency before confirming a bet.

Sports bets contribute to Stake VIP progress. Each dollar bet on the sportsbook counts as three dollars of VIP progress.
