Stake chat and rains: how do they work?

Chat adds a community side to Stake: join a room, meet other players and follow the conversation live. It is also where RainBot announces rains, distributions automatically awarded to eligible members.

Join a chat room

Posting in chat unlocks after $500 in cumulative wager since account creation. Wager means the amount bet, so it should not be confused with deposits.

Once access opens, choose your language room. Member messages and announcements appear in the feed. A game question or reaction to a round can start a conversation; discussions carry on between RainBot distributions.

What is a rain?

A rain is a distribution sent to eligible players in chat. RainBot selects the recipients and announces the distribution. Distributions are random; the official help consulted says they may occur on an hourly basis.

That unpredictability is part of the format: a rain arrives in the conversation without a form to fill in or a button to watch for.

Requirements for rains

Stake lists three conditions:

• more than $3,500 in wager over the last 7 days;
• completion of the required identity verification;
• regular activity in chat and on Stake.

The cumulative $500 that unlocks chat and the recent $3,500 used for rain eligibility are two separate thresholds. Meeting the conditions allows entry into the random selection; it does not guarantee a distribution.

How a rain reaches your account

It is all automatic. During a distribution, RainBot selects eligible accounts and credits them without manual action. You do not need to click faster than other members or send a special message.

Join the conversation

The easiest approach is to get a feel for the room: chat in its language, reply to others and share messages related to the discussion. Moderators handle spam, advertising and repeated requests for tips or bonuses.

Deposit or account problems belong with official support. Public chat is for member conversations, not private transaction details.

Recognise fake rain messages

An official rain does not ask for payment or a login to a site received in a private message. Keep passwords, 2FA codes and recovery phrases to yourself. An account asking for these details to send you a reward is not following RainBot’s process.
