Stake OriginalStake Chicken: rules, difficulties and multipliers
Meet Chicken: the course, four difficulty levels and multipliers at every step.

In Chicken, a chicken moves tile by tile and the multiplier follows its progress. Each successful crossing gives you a choice: cash out or try the next one. The route looks simple, but your chosen difficulty quickly changes the pace.
Move the chicken forward
Select a bet and difficulty before starting. Each command attempts to cross one tile. Success increases the multiplier and opens the option to cash out. If a crossing fails before cashout, the round ends and the bet is lost.
In manual mode, the game waits for your decision between stages. The displayed amount becomes a paid return when you use Cashout.

The route is in the centre; mode, bet and difficulty are on the left. In the screenshot, Medium is selected and upcoming multipliers appear below the tiles. You can see the stage reached without leaving the game.
Choose difficulty and mode
Easy offers the most gradual steps. Medium and Hard speed up the climb, while Expert shows high multipliers from the first stages, with a lower probability of crossing.
In Manual, you decide each jump. Auto lets you set jumps per round, a series of rounds and limits, among other settings. These organise the series; they do not predict obstacles.
Chicken multiplier table
The first column gives successful stages. The following columns are Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. After one stage, multipliers range from 1.03× to 1.96×; after five stages, from 1.31× to 60.29×.
Compare modes on the same row to see the difference. An empty cell means that stage does not exist at that difficulty. The image is also available in the Stake table collection.
Read a cashout
With 10 units and a cashout at 1.64×, you receive 16.40 units, or 6.40 profit on top of your bet. Trying the next tile puts the round’s return back in play.
The table tracks stages; it does not predict how far the chicken will go. Large values correspond to rare runs. A completed round can be checked through provably fair.
Frequently asked questions
Can I cash out after one jump?
Yes, if the crossing succeeded. The button pays the return corresponding to the displayed multiplier.
What does Auto change?
The game runs the settings defined for the series instead of waiting for your action at each stage.
Does the multiplier include my bet?
Yes. At 2×, the total return is twice the bet; net profit equals one bet.
